Hi! I'm Agustín (Ahh-goose-teen) but most people call me Agu. I am a counseling psychologist registered in the Netherlands who is a digital nomad currently located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

 

When thinking about who I am and what I identify with the most, the term global citizen comes to mind. I am a triple citizen of Argentina by birth, the United States because of one of my parents being from there, and Italy due to my grandmother. I speak Spanish, and English at a native level in addition to advanced fluency in Portuguese and Italian with some basic Dutch and French in the mix as well. 

 

Travelling is one of my biggest passions and has brought me to visit over 45 countries and all of the inhabited continents. The different perspectives, ideas, and personal growth from these travels have made me who I am today.

 

I am passionate about mental and physical health and wellness as I firmly believe in the latin term "Mente sana corpore sano" or "healthy mind, healthy body" both of which I believe are essential to a person's happiness and ability to live a fulfilling life.

I am a member of the LGBTQA+ community and understand the experience of coming to terms with my sexuality while living in a conservative area with little positive representation. This experience has inspired me to want to work with people in similar situations because I know the impact a therapist can have in these situations.

In my free time I like to spend time with friends, travel, and to participate or watch theater productions!
